WHOOPING COUGH


Pertussis is an extremely contagious respiratory disease which causes uncontrollable coughing. Pertussis' more common name is “whooping cough” It got this name from its tendency to cause patients to need to take deep breaths, creating a “whooping” sound. It could be looked at as a type of flu or cold, but can have more serious consequences. You’ll continuously be vomiting, feel fatigued, and taking high pitched deep breaths.
